Lunar Eclipse Self-Care.

Wow! What times we are in…

I feel a fervent need for self-care after the intensity of Spring Equinox, The Full Moon and today’s early morning Lunar Eclipse.

Today we enter into full manifesting mode for 2016. It’s going to be a joyful, fruitful ride! But we have just come through the pressure cooker of the build-up towards this – before we go any further let us take a day or two to breathe and center.

Yesterday felt grey and lonely. World events tapped our reserves and further accentuated any depression we may have been feeling in the last month.

This is why self-care is so important. Stop for a moment to acknowledge that it’s been tough sleddin’. Breathe into any pain that you may be feeling and with the next breath, release.

I’ve never liked avoiding the pain. It always has something good to teach me. But once I am in touch with it and have thanked it for it’s guidance, I send it along with an intention of love and compassion.

A Lunar eclipse is a lesson in itself. For it to occur, the Moon must be Full, at it’s highest expression. The Sun, Earth and Moon must be aligned, with the Earth in the middle. To me, it’s always felt like a bit of a love-fest (of course it does, I’m a Scorpio) where the Earth benefits from a giant planetary hug! Gaia, our hard-working Mother, enjoys an infusion of Sister Moon and Father Sun – ahhh! moments of blessed respite. Well, that’s how I see it anyway.

And now I am craving that same care.

Today I will color, pamper myself in the bath, light candles, play with my crystals, enjoy the flowers on my table, make some magic and end the day with Yoga Nidra. I will listen to my favorite music and sing like no-one is listening. And hopefully no-one is because the wolves howl when I do!

I hope you leave some time for yourself. If you have a tree that you love nearby, or even if you have one that you can imagine, ground yourself by connecting your spine to it’s trunk, imagine your roots growing deep into the ground and entwining with the roots of your tree elder. Breathe in the Peace.

I leave you with a song that heals me every time I hear it.  Peace of Iona by the Waterboys.

Namaste my loves

Spring Equinox Moon: Birthing the Light.

My loves, there are no co-incidences on this plane.

With the energy of the Spring Equinox still upon us, we enter with Luna into a fullness that has brought us a painful reminder of the low frequency of Fear.

Today’s bombings in Brussels are no surprise to my guides who were already at my consciousness when I awoke. In a previous post, I shared their wisdom about how 2016, a 9 year, would gestate with a powerful energy from Mercury’s Retrograde until the Equinox.

While the time between then and now has been relatively short, we have felt more than ever, and experienced headaches, mood swings, depression, loneliness, apathy, loss of appetite, anger, frustration…and a deep need to hide away.

This is all normal, as we flow with Gaia and spiritual fluctuations – humanity is on a constant ebb and flow of learning. Mostly, we are learning to transmute fear into love, but in times like the past few months, it has been easy to just slip into fear and stay there. While everything has been pointing to possibilities, to inner growth and manifested visions, we’ve been trying to stay afloat in an emotional quagmire.

Among my visions for this year, were incidents like this, which happen at times when Love is awakening in more hearts than ever before. Why? Because on this planet of dualities, there is a balancing act that happens between opposing forces, and when one makes great strides forward (like Love is doing now) there is a push back from Fear, which senses it’s own demise.

While it saddens me greatly to know that some years are cradles for natural disasters and violent outbreaks more than others, I cling to the joy of knowing that the planet is on a trajectory towards great positive change.

I have two clear messages from my guides which they deem appropriate for this Full Moon. Again, for the rest of the year, we will be in full active phase of manifesting. As of tomorrow, we will be past any birthing we should have done and now the work before us is bringing to life what we need for our own physical incarnations and also any work that will affect the globe. Earth Builders and Light Workers alike will make great strides with inventions, art, music, environmental work, peace building, etc. And we are all of the Light!

Personal work continues, meaning, if you wish to change the world, change yourself. This is and always will be our most important work, our most meaningful, it is why we are here.

So now, for the messages: I’m not going to dilute them, because that would be of no value to you. On a day like today, this news may seem unjust, but it is for our highest learning and we are ready. So straight from the Source:

  1. Those who commit crimes, wage war, acts of terrorism, etc. are not going to hell or some purgatory, or whatever agony we might wish upon them as a punishment.

Everything on the Other Side, is Love and Light. When souls go back home, it is straight to the Light. They receive loving care to ease them out of the horrors they experienced and/or perpetuated here, because for EVERY SINGLE SOUL, to come here and experience FEAR is a great trauma. Every soul comes here voluntarily, to experience something they could never on the Other Side. While some come to experience trauma others agree to be part of that experience. This takes a great degree of sacrifice for a soul made only of Love.

So, there will be no suffering for those who bomb others? Yes, they suffer, while incarnated and being void of Love, they suffer while committing their acts, they will suffer whatever consequences they encounter here as a result of their actions…but once they go home, they return to who they were before they were detached from the Matrix.

Why do my guides share this knowledge? Because it is to our benefit to operate out of love and compassion, forgiveness and empathy, rather than anger.

To transmute Fear, we must, absolutely must, be Love. Especially to those who know only Fear.

There is no way to change them, unless we change ourselves. And this is one of the hardest parts of being human, offering love to those who hurt us.While there most certainly should be consequences, there must be room for them in heart space.

What sense would it make for those souls to experience more hell on returning Home? In what state would they return to their next incarnation? It is like our current prison system, hurting people in, hurting people out.

Love has to have the last word. Peace begins in heart space. Can you send love out today, to those who hurt you most?

2. To incarnate into a physical body, we must adjust to a very low frequency, one that we are not used to at Home. Until the age of seven or so, we still remember many aspects of our Spirit Selves. After that, we continue on in a kind of dream, where we are on a road to Remembering.

Unfortunately, we become so embroiled in the day to day aspects of life that we leave little room for remembering.

Here is the Full Moon Challenge for all of us; to revisit how we raise our children, and how we live as adults, with our spiritual quest a priority.

We can even find enjoyable ways to do this. Art, Music, Exercise, Sport, Sex, and Nature.

My guides say that in other dimensions, other planets, these activities are considered the highest of callings. Now, this is the only planet where we have to actually work to be fed and clothed, which is a challenge, I admit.

But if we even make a quarter turn in the way we view our incarnation. What if we raised children who experienced the wonder of the Universe, men who knew that their spirituality was the greatest part of their masculinity and women who understood themselves as Goddess?

What if we honored the Wild? What if we stood back and said, I already am All, I don’t need have it all.

This Full Moon promises the actualization of our visions, it has been spoken of since the year began.

And today, as everyday, we start with the same opportunity…to be Love.

That is all that we need to remember. I leave you with these things to Ponder.

Full Moon Blessings!

Spring Equinox. A Portal to Your Wildest Visions.

“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.” ~ Rainer Maria Rilke

For everyone who lives in the Northern Hemisphere, Spring Equinox is just around the corner, on March 20th-23rd.

The Wheel of the Year in the Celtic/Pagan traditions turns towards the potential that is bursting from its respite in the Underworld. Winter is past and Light has returned to rule the day.

I don’t know about you but I have been feeling the quickening of energy that happens when the days become longer and hope wells up in my heart for what is to be.

At the Equinox, day and night are of equal length. Balance is a key lesson derived from the first day of Spring. We have been teetering about in vulnerability and full of questions since February 1st and the Festival of Imbolc. What began to stir in the soul after the long dark days of Winter is now ready for full expression.

So much has transpired since then, I feel like I have lived a lifetime. We survived Mercury’s Retrograde, a Solar Eclipse and a Full Moon. All these planetary events have primed us for a blossoming along with the cherry blossoms and daffodils.

As anxious as I have been the last few weeks, not knowing where all my emotions were leading me, Spring Equinox is now taking me by the hand and leading me towards a full expression of my creativity.

Our Mother, Gaia, is readying for her most creative period of the year. In spring, Gaia wears her most effervescent gown. She dips her paint brush into the softest of colors. She unfolds into the dream she has been incubating all the dark days preceding, and delights us with the gifts of potential.

“She turned to the sunlight, and shook her yellow head, and whispered to her neighbor: “Winter is dead.” ~ A.A. Milne

I like to take her cue, and unfold with her.

Because just like in nature, when the sap begins to run and the trees drink from the well of life, I also feel my blood circulating in anticipation of new adventures.

Our bodies are primed for cleansing foods, our minds are awake to re-inventing ourselves, our souls are inspired—there is no better time for forward movement than in spring.

I’ve been feeling empowered, excited, too motivated to sit still! I’ve been awaiting the right moment to birth new visions, and finally, after walking through many tough days where I questioned my abilities, spring is here to join me on my quest.

I often look to nature to teach me about motivation. When Spring comes, She does not question her decision to become life itself. There was time before to rest, to gather resources. But once her time comes, like the laboring woman, she cannot turn back from her most beautiful destiny.

And that is how I find myself, no longer the questioner, no longer unsure. Now I give myself permission to be the queen of my own future, allowing all the energy I have stored up since Winter Solstice to give the final push, and I step into possibility.

Without a doubt, spring is the most fertile time for birthing new ventures.

If you like to work with Gaia’s energies, then follow the wheel of the year as it waxes and wanes, allowing each season to guide you on your journey.

At each Equinox, Spring or Autumn, we are faced with a balance of Light and Dark. In this moment, opposing forces that we struggle with—our conscious and unconscious, our inner and outer natures (what we show to the world and what we hide)—come to a welcome knowing that there is nothing to fight, we are all things, and life is not a race, but a willing walk down a path that is not always clear.

Now is the time to be brave.

Now is the time to take that leap into the abyss—the one that guarantees nothing but the full expression of your life force. But birth is like that. There is no going back to simply wishing. Just do it!

Here are a few things to help you along the path:

Sacred Stones to Play with at Spring Equinox:

Celestite: Try this crystal to inspire hopes and dreams

Quartz: Use to encourage positivity. I’m especially drawn to yellow stones at the Vernal Equinox, and lemon quartz does the trick.

Carnelian and Amber: Two more crystals that radiate increase in energy and positive vibes.

Ocean Jasper: If you can get your hands on some of this, it’s a very beautiful gift from the earth. It’s great for thinking up limitless possibilities!

Crystals can be used in spells, as aids in energy work such as Reiki—lay on the chakras, or simply to hold when feeling uncertain, or in need of earthy companions.

Essential Oils for Spring Anointing:

I like to diffuse quality, organic essential oils in the house at springtime to clear old stuck energies.

Try, Clary Sage, Lemon, Grapefruit, Coriander, Grapefruit, Geranium, Orange, Lavender.

Tea for Clearing:

Good any time of the year but especially now, try making your own Ginger, Lemon and Honey tea.

Simply slice a few fresh pieces of ginger into a pot filled with water, and bring to a simmer—10 minutes should do. Serve with a slice of lemon and some unpasteurized honey.

Activities Natural to the Vernal Equinox.

You guessed it: spring cleaning!

Not only of those dusty, over-filled rooms and cupboards, but anything that no longer serves you emotionally, physically or spiritually.

Also, tap into your inner child and paint some eggs. These can be part of a center piece for an Equinox brunch, allow with pussy willows and a vase of tulips and daffodils.

Create a banquet of spring foods—try asparagus quiche, a salad of fresh greens and a potato/leek soup.

Make a bonfire and greet the first sunset of spring outdoors, bring your drums and rattles, poems and songs.

The winds of change are blowing! It’s an intense time, it’s your time.

Blessed Be.
