Dispelling the Evil Associated with the Pentagram. Via Mary Rogers.

Having been raised in a very strict Seventh – day Adventist home, when I began my Pagan Path, I had a lot of reprogramming to do.

Most of the shedding and letting go of old agreements felt very natural and organic as I grew in my studies. However, the one aspect I had a hard time embracing was the five-star pentagram as this was a symbol I had been reared to understand as “evil.”

In all honesty, I struggled with embracing this symbol and could not seem to get past the way in which others may also perceive the pentagram. I feared judgement.

Struggling with this, I awoke one morning knowing in my heart I had been visited by one of my Spirit Guides. The message she gave me has forever altered how I viewed the context of this sacred symbol.

Still feeling between worlds but not wanting to lose any of the wisdom and knowledge she bestowed upon me, upon waking, I immediately wrote this:

“When you wake, startled, from artificial noise announcing through an impossible alarm and still remember the effects of a dream and the way it touched your heart and soul – when you know your Guide came to you to give you answers and connect your subconscious and conscious mind –  well, it’s certainly a divine lesson you’re not likely to forget.

This is what I can recall:

I was in a great forest, green as far as the eyes could see. There was an old crone with me and she was wise. You could see in her heart a once beautiful maiden rendered crippled by the wears of life.

She came to tell me how there are actually five levels of consciousness – not three as Freud had once suggested. Five like the five points in a pentagram…”

She went on to give me a plethora of information regarding the number five and what the pentagram actually represents. As I could only recall fragments of the conversation, I went on to study further from the notes I had written down.

To my amazement, I came across an article that literally seemed to outline everything my guide had explained:

“Always with five points (one pointing upward), each has its own meaning. The upward point of the star is representative of spirit. The other four points all represent an element: earth, air, fire, and water. All these things contribute to life and are a part of each of us.

To wear a pentagram necklace or other form of jewelry or markings, is to say you feel the connection with the elements and respect the earth…

The number 5 has always been regarded as mystical and magical, yet essentially ‘human’. We have five fingers/toes on each limb extremity. We commonly note five senses – sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. We perceive five stages or initiations in our lives – eg. birth, adolescence, coitus, parenthood and death. (There are other numbers / initiations / stages / attributions).

The number 5 is associated with Mars. It signifies severity, conflict and harmony through conflict. In Christianity, five were the wounds of Christ on the cross. There are five pillars of the Muslim faith and five daily times of prayer…

The number 5 is prime. The simplest star – the pentagram – requires five lines to draw and it is unicursal; it is a continuous loop…” ~ Rob Purvis

My mind immediately went to Leonardo da Vinci’s 1940 drawing of the Vitruvian Man. I also began to further research the number five and came across a Biblical site which states,

“The number 5 symbolizes God’s grace, goodness and favor toward humans and is mentioned 318 times in Scripture. Five is the number of grace, and multiplied by itself, which is 25, is ‘grace upon grace’ (John 1:16). The Ten Commandments contains two sets of 5 commandments. The first five commandments are related to our treatment and relationship with God, and the last five concern our relationship with others humans.

There are five primary types of offerings God commanded Israel to bring to him. They are the Burnt Offering (Leviticus 1; 8:18 – 21; 16:24), Sin (Leviticus 4; 16:3 – 22), Trespass (Leviticus 5:14 – 19; 6:1 – 7; 7:1 – 6), Grain (Leviticus 2) and Peace Offering (Leviticus 3; 7:11- 34).

The Book of Psalms is divided into five major sections. Section 1 (Psalm 1 to 41) refers to the Passover, Israel’s beginning, and the start of the God’s plan of salvation that centers around Christ. Section 2 (42 to 72) sings about a unified Israel in the land and pictures the creation of the New Testament Church. Section 3 (73 to 89) bemoans the destruction of both God’s Temple and Jerusalem. This section also hints at prophecies regarding the End Time Great Tribulation. Section 4 (90 to 106) rejoices over the 1,000 reign of Jesus and shows Israel gathered again. Section 5 (107 to 150) pictures a time when Judah (representing all Israel) shall again be delivered.

There are five books of God’s Law (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) commonly referred to as the Pentateuch (‘Penta’ means five).”

Another article broke down the history of the pentagram stating, “The Pentagram is much older than people realize – 3500 BC, as a matter of fact! In the current day its use is mainly as a sign of earth based faiths, showing the four elements topped with the realm of spirit.”

The article went on to state how this sacred symbol never used to be considered evil. In fact, royalty used to use this symbol to show their power spread to the four corners of the world and it was used as a sign of protection against evil. During Medieval times, it was called the “endless knot” and represented a symbol of truth. Knights used to have this emblem engraved on their shields to represent the five virtues: generosity, courtesy, chastity, chivalry, and piety.

The author went on to discuss how it was once used as a symbol in Christianity, Freemasonry, and the Rosicrucian faith – it was representative of humanity reborn to study the faith and the inner mysteries and how it still shows up today in other religions:

“In Egypt, the five pointed star represented the underground womb. From which all
are reborn. The Celts used it for the same reason…

The five-petaled Lotus appears on the hands of the Buddha in many depictions
representing man’s quest for perfect enlightenment…

Shiva is called the ‘Panchanana’ or five faced and the Pentagram is still used today to represent it…”

For me – all of this knowledge dispelled any old agreements I carried about the pentagram being considered a representation of evil. We often fear that which we do not understand. The only advice I can give is to not take my word about what I have shared, but rather study it for yourself.

Knowledge is power.

New Moon in Sagittarius.

instaquote-_temp5New Moon Blessings my loves!

Have we been through the fire, or what? There are no words to either explain nor understand the events unfolding since the last new moon, which brought Scorpio’s dark intensity. We are still, in America, battling government and its effects – North Dakota and the Presidential elections. So much energy has spilled much like tar; thick and stifling, over emotions and the stark realities of life. In other parts of the world, earthquakes, wars, human rights violations – are we still under this oppression? It seems unfathomable, incomprehensible, too painful to swallow.

And yet, this new moon brings some stability, as we gain in understanding of our light. For there are so many of us now, who bravely shed our brilliance like so many stars at night, hoping for peace, aiming for justice, speaking words of love.

29.11.2016. The magic of the number 4. Stability, Equality. We need this energy! Let us, on solid footing, stand strong together to bring in more of what this world aches for: enlightenment of our true nature.

Sagittarius is our leader now until the 30th of December. Optimistic, positive, expansive. Jupiter rules this sign and brings good fortune but also challenges. Sagittarius is fire…it makes things happen! So let us not give up yet, in our stand against oppression. In fact, let us not struggle at all, but breathe in peace as we exhale strife.

Sagittarius is not much for lies, and can be quite blunt in its execution of the truth. Let us learn from the good in this and the bad. While we keep to the right, to the best of humanity, and ask that of others, we can achieve this without killing the fly off someone’s forehead with an axe, when a fly swatter will do. Can we have dignity in our march towards justice, can we behave with honor, can we love our enemy and transmute their darkness to light?

As we stretch towards the winter Solstice, where the Sun will be born again, can we embrace the shadows and value them for their teachings?

We are not lost. We are not the forgotten. We are the Earth Builders. We are in solidarity about our quest for a New Earth.

May the blessings of the New Moon fill your heart and spur your dreams.

New Moon Mantra:

I am new. I am inspired. I am the light. I am invigorated. I am grounded in Love.

So it has been written, so mote it be.

Super Taurus Moon, Take Me Deeper. Channeled Insights.

The moon is always with us. She is ever faithful, ever illuminating. And sometimes, she gives a little extra, a deeper insight into ourselves.

This November 14th, we welcome a Full Perigee Moon, 14% bigger, 30% brighter, appearing closer than it has since January 26, 1948 and not be seen in such glory again until November 25th, 2034.

The Full Taurus Moon is set this month against a Scorpio Sun. Power and Mystery work together for our enlightenment.

As a Scorpio myself, with several planets in Scorpio to intensify things, I can attest to the pull of its darkness and impetuous need for uncovering what’s hidden, what’s extreme, what’s false or true. Scorpio is not afraid of the battle or what will come of it.

We have seen over the last few weeks since the portal into the Underworld opened at Samhain (All Hallow’s Eve) that the Scorpio sun is not shy to dredge up the underbelly of society, of our beliefs or our need for reform.

So many of us are still under the heavy blanket of the recent election in the U.S.A. What is the purpose of this heaviness? Do we need such contact with our fears?

Scorpio does not always ask the question of when is it enough? It will dig until we are fully buried in questions, and then leave us to die unto ourselves. When we die unto ourselves, we become present to what feels uncomfortable, we sit in it, we dine on it, we digest it, release it and move forward. Scorpio is our agent for change – if we allow it. If not, it will visit us again.

This month, Taurus helps us to methodically travel our internal discoveries with calm and stability. Thank goodness, because I think many of us are ready for this heavy blanket to lift.

It is blocking that connection we must make with our own heart center, where fear is surrendered and trust is born.

We are in heavy transformation! We are face first with who we are as a species, and the difficulties of 3rd. Dimensional living. We crave now, quite poignantly, the shift towards the 5th Dimension. We are not quite there yet, although many have already ascended, but as a society we are still grappling with basic questions relating to the human condition.

There is always a painful revelation of the dirt beneath the glory at times of ascension. It is a not so subtle reminder of where we do not want to recede to. Like a pimple that festers and throws up its poison before it heals into clarity.

At this time, we are being asked to face and actually embrace that poison. To feel it, love it, offer it peace and send it on its way. We can do this, with the super moon illumination that is being gifted from the heavens.

This heaviness will lift, I promise. Not immediately, we all have our work to do. Remember, the outward condition of the world is the inner condition of our hearts. Every soul has their purpose. Some bring the darkness to light, and some bring light to the darkness. Both are needed. Both engage in sacred work. Both will be bathed in Luna’s brilliance. There is no judgement.

We are being asked to move through fear and into trust.

We have been reactive, and this is perfectly normal. Reaction, tempered with compassion is a healing agent too.

Let us examine the numerical significance of the three dates on which such a Super Moon has, is and will exist. My guides are quick to remind me that all time, past, present and future occurs simultaneously, but for us here in the 3rd dimension, we understand time as linear. Therefore, numerology helps us to make sense of certain occurrences.

The Past:  01.26.1948 = 4   Stability, Strength, Matter, the Elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Air), The Representation of Self. The Earth Begins Ascension.

The world was awakening in 1948. It was healing from WW2. The day after the super moon, Executive Order 9981 ending racial segregation in US Armed Forces was signed. We were a humanity rising from incomprehensible terror.

We were more stable than ever before. Rising in strength and introspection, we began to build a new world.

The Present: 11.14.2016 = 7   The Mysterious Feminine. Mystery. Completion. The Representation of Beauty in the colors of the rainbow, the seven notes, the chakras enshrined within the body.

She is Rising. She – Luna. She – Goddess. She – Empowered. She – The Light.

She in her Fullness, shines the light on what is no longer acceptable. We are seeing this viscerally in the news. She will bring chaos when chaos is needed to open our eyes. She is Awoken.

Never before, except in ancient times, has Goddess been this vocal, this visible.

Can you see how the old paradigm is now being exposed and shifted? It is painful, dirty, unacceptable, and yet, we needed to see this. Returning to it seems impossible. We must not.

The Future: 11.25.2034 = 9 Birth. Potential. The Conduit between the Material and the Immaterial. Expression of a new Reality. The New Earth.

We are fast approaching knowing ourselves as Earth Builders and vessels of Divinity. We are not merely shells of human incarnation, we are spirit.

We are learning to live in both worlds; this and the unseen.

We are becoming more telepathic, more empathetic; more intuitive.

The lesson now is to stay present. Looking towards the future is good, but to be in the moment, to experience fully our lessons, to find our core goodness and express that fully is key. To be mindful – that is the journey.

“Friends, the point of this project has always been to return to the original impulse – that life on planet earth is to express LOVE as a three dimensional hologram. As a true Being in itself. Love is the external expression of the I Am. The fight against this expression is now dull in our eyes. Goddess rises because She can no longer bear the chaos. She once stepped aside out of her full love for the Sacred Masculine, her Twin, to allow him full birth on the planet. But even She now sees that either polarity on its own is not the fullness we are seeking. Together, Shakti and Shiva will create the new Earth. And you are conduits of this reality. You must embody both, the male becoming more female, the female becoming more male, the two in unity. The I Am is neither and both. So you must be neither and both. The time for setting aside either is come to an end. One is not evil and the other light. Both are light. And we assist you in every way you allow. You have never been alone, and we continue with our relationship. You are our beloved.” ~ Aiden

* Remember to cleanse your crystals and gems in the moonlight. Make moon water to wash your hands and face with in the morning, to use in sacred ceremony, or recipes. Yes! You can eat the moon!
